Pegasus International College participated in the 2023 ASEAN Tourism Standards Training organized by the Vietnam National Administration of Tourism in Da Nang for three days from November 8-10, 2023. At the program, lecturers from both Hanoi and Da Nang campuses of Pegasus International College learned about the four ASEAN Tourism standards:

• ASEAN Clean Tourist City
• ASEAN MICE Venue
• ASEAN Green Hotel
• ASEAN Sustainable Tourism Product

Pegasus lecturers also had a field trip to the Four Seasons The Nam Hai Hoi An resort and learned about the “green” solutions at the resort: organic vegetable garden, energy-saving lighting fixtures, recycled amenities, and a bottled water plant.

The ASEAN Tourism Standards were published by the ASEAN Secretariat on the basis of the agreement of the member countries, aiming to standardize and improve the quality of tourism products and services in the region

Through this program, Pegasus International College has gained a lot of useful information to share with students and partners in the field of green – clean – sustainable tourism development.
