I. INTRODUCTION
The Hospitality and tourism industry is one of the most promising and rapidly developing service sectors worldwide, particularly in Southeast Asia and Vietnam. With the revival of tourism markets after the COVID-19 pandemic, the demand for skilled professionals in this industry is steadily increasing to compensate for the workforce that shifted careers or left their jobs due to the pandemic’s impact. This demand is especially prominent for highly qualified professionals.
The Advanced Diploma in Hospitality and Tourism Management (ADHTM) programme is conducted in collaboration between Pegasus International College and SISH Institute (Singapore), leading students to a qualification awarded by SISH. It provides students with the necessary skills and knowledge to prepare for a global career in this booming hospitality industry. The program equips students with adaptable critical thinking skills, essential insights, and up-to-date knowledge about the core functions of the hotel and tourism industry. Students gain exposure to modules of study that focus on various aspects of food and beverage service, accommodation, hotel operations, tourism planning, and development. With the set objectives, upon successful completion of the course, students will be able to:
- Demonstrate relevant operational skills in various types of hospitality organisations.
- Research, organize, and critically analyze information for further application or dissemination.
- Apply business principles to various management scenarios in the hospitality industry.
- Demonstrate attainment of prescribed goals through organising, motivating, coordinating, and collaborating with peers.
Through this program, students will accumulate the necessary practical skills and knowledge in both Viet Nam and/or Singapore environments to develop their professional capabilities, enhance their values, and increase opportunities for successful employment in labour market of Vietnam and other countries upon their graduation.

To graduate and achieve the qualification, students must meet the following requirements:
- Attend a minimum of 75% of the contact hours for each module.
- Attend all assessments and complete the Industrial Attachment requirements
- Adhere to legal and disciplinary regulations during the course.
- Comply with the rules and regulations of the organization in which the student interns during the industrial attachment
- Any student who drops out of the industrial attachment prematurely without valid reasons or who is terminated by the organization on disciplinary grounds would be deemed to have failed the entire course and not able to graduate from the programme.
1. What are the admission requirements for the Advanced Diploma in Hospitality and Tourism Management programme?

- IELTS 5.5 or equivalent
* Students who do not have English certificate will take English Placement Test and be arranged in an English Foundation course before entering the main programme.

3. How does the tuition fee in Vietnam differ from the fee at SISH Singapore?
– A 2-year programme at Pegasus with a total tuition fee of VND135,000,000.
– Studying the first year at Pegasus with a tuition fee of VND79,000,000, followed by the second year at SISH in Singapore with a tuition fee of approximately SGD$8,650 (equivalent to around VND154,000,000)
