PEGASUS INTERNATIONAL COLLEGE COOPERATES TO DEVELOP HUMAN RESOURCES WITH SUN GROUP AND DA NANG DEPARTMENT OF LABOUR, INVALIDS AND SOCIAL AFFAIRS

On March 24th, 2022, Sun Group and the City Department of Labour, Invalids and Social Affairs. Da Nang held a Human Resource Development Cooperation Workshop, aiming to improve the quality of human resources for the Central region, meeting the development needs of the new normal.

The event took place at Novotel Danang Premier Han River Hotel (Da Nang) with the participation of Mr. Nguyen Dang Hoang – Director of the Department of Labour, Invalids and Social Affairs (DOLISA) of Da Nang city, representatives of educational institutions, vocational colleges, universities and representatives of units under Sun Group.

At the conference, Dr. Pham Hung Linh – Pegasus International College gave a speech on his experience in training high-quality human resources at Pegasus International College and discussed directions for cooperation between PIC and Sun Group in the fields of many areas: training high-quality human resources proposed by Sun Group such as Sun Group’s scholarship program for good students of PIC, paid internships at Sun Group or helping Sun Group train employees according to international standards.

The workshop made an assessment of the opportunities and challenges of the labor market in the Central region, especially in Da Nang in the new normal period. At the same time, discussing the shortcomings and limitations in the quality of human resources as well as proposing solutions to improve the efficiency of training, contributing to reducing the risk of human shortage in the context of the recovery of the tourism industry Da Nang, especially the Chef Industry.

According to Mr. Nguyen Dang Hoang – representative of the Department of Labor – Invalids and Social Affairs of Da Nang city, the fact that businesses actively connect to cooperate with schools is a very positive signal.

In the coming time, the Department of Labor – Invalids and Social Affairs will deploy many activities, including periodic job sessions; Job Fair, and vocational education enrollment counseling; Coordinate to advise on the development of the project “Developing human resources for the private sector in a number of key industries and fields of Da Nang city to 2030, with a vision to 2045″, focusing on human resource research tourism industry and high-quality services associated with resort real estate.

“The Department of Labor, War Invalids and Social Affairs proposed Sun Group to have a plan to coordinate and connect with state educational institutions, especially training institutions in tourism and service industries, restaurants,… to meet the labor needs of the Group”, emphasized Mr. Nguyen Dang Hoang.
