National Defense Education is a compulsory course for students who have enrolled in the Advanced Diploma in Hospitality Management (Vietnamese program). It was held for two weeks in May at the National Defense Education Centre of National University in Hoa Lac, Hanoi.

This special course provides students with experiential learning and helps them become familiar with Vietnam Army lifestyle. Furthermore, Pegasus students can acquire necessary soft skills such as teamwork, leadership and discipline, which are crucial characteristics in the hospitality industry
