PEGASUS ALUMNI ENTERS TOP 32 OF CHEF OF THE YEAR 2024 COMPETITION IN AUSTRALIA

Tran Minh Tan, an alumnus of the Certificate III in Commercial Cookery and Advanced Diploma in Hospitality Management programs in 2021, has made his mark by being named one of the Top 32 contestants in the prestigious Chef of the Year 2024 competition in Australia.

Journey of Pursuing Passion:

  • With a passion for cooking since childhood, Tan chose Pegasus as the launchpad for his dreams.
  • At Pegasus, Tan was equipped with a solid foundation in culinary knowledge and professional hotel management skills.
  • After graduation, Tan decided to come to Australia to pursue his passion and challenge himself.
  • Currently, Tan is a talented Chef de partie at the renowned The George Hotel.

Chef of the Year is one of the most prestigious cooking competitions in Australia, bringing together talented chefs. With his burning passion, relentless effort, and outstanding professional skills, Tan has excelled through thousands of contestants to make it to the Top 32 of Chef of the Year 2024. The final round will take place on May 19th with a prize of up to AU$10,000. Let’s follow Tan’s journey to conquer the pinnacle of this competition!
