Certificate in Food & Beverage
The Certificate in Food & Beverage programme aims to equip students with the knowledge and skills needed to provide professional restaurant services accurately and proficiently. This includes restaurant preparation, bar preparation, food and drink service, and the ability to mix alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages. Students will also learn how to meet customer requirements and expectations in accordance with international culinary standards and trends.
The programme is designed at Level 1 and Level 2 elementary. The Level 1 programme focuses on teaching basic skills of serving guests at the table. With the Level 2 programme, professional content on preparing non-alcoholic, alcoholic beverages and coffee drinks is integrated into the teaching plan to develop learners’ capabilities, covering both food service and bartending tasks at restaurants and bars. Additionally, the inclusion of English at both levels will enhance students’ ability to access specialized terms and communicate effectively in the workplace.
The course curriculum is designed based on the Australian, ASEAN, and VTOS frameworks, with more than 70% of the time dedicated to practical training. Additionally, students are required to spend a minimum of 140 working hours at an enterprise to help them prepare for their future careers. This approach enables students to be job-ready upon completion of the course.

In order to meet the graduation and certification requirements, students must complete required courses & internships with the following conditions:
- Attend a minimum of 80% of the training hours for each course.
- Complete all modules as specified in the program.
- Achieve total courses score of 5.0 or higher.
- Not violate the school’s rules & regulations.
- Exemptions from courses or exams are subject to school regulations.
