VTOS Hotel Securities

1. INTRODUCTION

The course, Hotel Security Operations according to VTOS Standards, is designed by Pegasus International College and is suitable for all employees and hotel security heads/deputy head and hotel staff with the goal of ensuring high standards of security services and providing a safe and secure experience for customers during their hotel stay.

After the course, students will be equipped to carry out facility patrol procedures, understand  the specifications of the fire protection system, control security processes for contractors, hotel guests and handle security situations that may occur at the hotel.

Course Objectives• Upon course completion, students will be able to identify areas that need to be patrolled, read the technical parameters and operating rules of fire protection equipment; state the phone numbers of fire protection, medical, and police in the area
• Students will be able to itemise lists needed to be security checked for guests and contractors when entering and exiting the hotel.
• Students will be skilled in handling security situations that may occur at the hotel in accordance with the procedures
Duration72 hours (including training, self-training, and assessment)
Target Audience• Shift leader, Su Security Department
• Employees who have at least 3 months of experience working in the related department
Number of Students/classMaximum 20 students/class
Training Methods• Direct training at enterprises adopting a competency approach, learner-centred, focusing on practical skills trials, role-playing, and applying industry standards associated with the realistic, diverse, and flexible needs of hotels.

- Phase 1: Learning with Instructors
- Phase 2: Self-training at the Enterprise
- Stage 3: Skills Assessment Exam
