Train The Trainer
To satisfy the demand for training in hotels and resorts, Pegasus International College offers a Train The Trainer Programme, especially tailored for heads of department and hotel supervisors for the purpose of in-house staff training.
The course is designed for those responsible for training and coaching internal staff including Human Resources, Training, Department Heads, Supervisors, Shift Leaders, Team Leaders or experienced existing in-house trainers. It aims to upskill and empower staff in these positions to develop and conduct their own internal training programmes productively and cost-effectively for various departments when required.
The training programme is designed based on the Vietnam Tourism Occupational Skills Standards (VTOS). It is further enhanced by Pegasus International College own in-depth experience in conducting Train The Trainer programmes over several years and is aligned with VTOS and ASEAN competency standards. The programme content features a practical approach tailored to the competency requirements for hotel supervisors and managers.

The course objectives | Upon course completion, participants will able to be: • Utilize VTOS and ASEAN tourism competency standards as well as the hotel's Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) to develop in-depth training materials, tailored to the hotel's specific needs. • Prepare and deliver effective skills and knowledge training sessions using a structured approach and active learning methodologies (active learning). • Apply the method of using questions, supporting tools in training and how to use verbal and non-verbal cues to create effectiveness promote interaction and inspiration in learning. • Plan,implement and conduct training programmes at the enterprise. |

Final assessment and evaluation | • Pre-course assessment: Conduct a training needs assessment and evaluate supervisory and management competencies. • Post-course assessment: Based on the results of individual practical exercises, teamwork during the course or comprehensive assessments in the form of quizzes or final individual/group projects. |

Completion requirements | • Students must attend at least 80% of the programme duration • Assessment results attained must be average or higher • Must not violate the school’s rules and regulations. |
