PEGASUS STUDENTS WON THE SECOND PRIZE AT COOKING COMPETITION ORGANIZED BY THE KOREA EMBASSY IN DA NANG

Pegasus International College continuously received good news. After Ms. Hoang Thi Hue - Culinary lecturer won the first prize of the Barilla Pasta Month Asia contest, student Tran Minh Tan was also honored to win the second prize in the contest to conquer Korean cuisine.

Tan brings to this contest the dish "spicy stewed kimchi tofu" with the hope that it will be a health food for people to overcome the Covid pandemic.

Not only excelling in his processing techniques, but also convinced the judges with a presentation in English about his chance to participate in the contest as well as why he chose this dish. Tan also once shared that: "He loved the kitchen profession and he had never regretted choosing this profession". Pegasus International College is very proud of the results that Tan has achieved and is honored to accompany him on the path to conquering his dreams.

The final round of the K-Food Festival competition was held on the afternoon of December 8th. Mr. Ahn Min Sik - Korean Consulate General in Da Nang congratulated the winners. At the same time, in 2022, the 30th anniversary of the establishment of diplomatic relations between Vietnam and Korea, the Consulate General will organize more events for people to interact, including a large-scale culinary event. Through this, it is hoped that culinary culture in particular and Korean culture in general will be closer to Vietnamese people.
