According to Vietnam News (Q1/2016), there are more than 1 million unemployed people of working age including nearly 200,000 graduates. One of the main reasons for this is the limited guidance on future careers given to students, making for wrong career choices and for majors that do not suit employers’ requirements.
To help high school students properly choose their future career, “Vut bay” Project has been created providing field trips to experience their preferred jobs. “Vut bay” is among top 8 enterprises of the Start-up Enterprise (Danang) and considered one of the five most feasible projects.
Continuing on from the success of the 2015 & 2016 programmes at Pegasus International College, “Vut bay” was supported on January 8 this year by Pegasus. More than 30 students from 6 high schools in the City (Le Quy Don, Sky-line, Tran Phu, Phan Chau Trinh, Hoang Hoa Tham, & Hoa Vang) participated in this event.
During the event, students participated in activities to study about Pegasus International College, about the hospitality Industry as well as general socio-cultural information. Key information on Australian Qualifications at Pegasus and its unique educational model in Vietnam was emphasized.
Pegasus, with its international quality in educational delivery, hopes to welcome all students to its campus at the future events to help students select the best career pathway.
